Sponsorship & Exhibition Opportunities

The first Rotherham Children and Young Peoples Festival will take place from the 21st June to 9th July and will be organised by the School Effectiveness Service section of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
This new and exciting celebration has been described by Cllr Shaun Wright, Cabinet Member for CYPS, as a “landmark event in the development of transforming learning, our commitment to provide world class education for all our children and your people across the Borough”.
Students, Teachers, Governors and Parents will be invited to attend an array of events that will take place at the Magna Adventure Science Park, on Sheffield Road, Rotherham.
These will include some established celebrations such as Roscars, the Rotherham Childrens Book Awards, the Big Sing and the Picture This! Exhibition. There will be a whole host of new events to celebrate the fantastic and diverse work done in our schools, not just by our very talented pupils but also by our committed and enthusiastic staff; the success and achievements of our Support Staff and Childcare Champions will be recognised too.
The Festival will be visited by many hundreds of people during the three week programme and will provide an exciting platform to introduce or raise your organisation’s profile within Rotherham and surrounding areas.
So how can your organisation be involved?
Sponsorship
As an event sponsor your organisation will be one of the main corporate sponsors. This will include:
- Prominent branding at the events and associated event materials.
- Your organisation will be referred to as a main sponsor on all the marketing and PR materials and websites and media.
- VIP tickets to the events of your choice.
- Display stand space available within the Magna Centre for the duration of the Festival.
Event sponsor—£2000 per event and/or a donation of prizes
We are inviting organisation’s and industry specialist to sponsor individual events
Exhibition Opportunities
The festival is a perfect opportunity to showcase your organisations products or services directly to the people of Rotherham.
- 1 unit of exhibition space from (£250)
- 50 word company profile in our event programme and on our website

Advertising Opportunities
Individual Event programmes will be available throughout the festival.
A limited number of full and half page advertisement spaces will be made available. We recommend you book your space early.
- Full page colour advertisement in the Festival Guide—£250
- Half page colour advertisement is the Festival Guide—£150
- Advertisement in individual event programmes—£75 each
- Inclusion in our 5000 ‘Goody Bags’ giveaway—£50
